Flight Search Tools & Fare Tracking Apps

Going

My favorite kind of email. Going watches fares out of MSP and Chicago and pings me when a price drops — and if a flight I already booked gets cheaper, it tells me exactly how to claim the difference. It finds the deal; you still book direct with the airline. ➡️ CHECK IT OUT

Laters.com

Fly now, pay later — for real. Laters.com lets you lock in a fare and pay over time, with no booking fee and your airline miles intact. My code CHELSEAFLY also takes 5% off the base fare (before taxes and fees). It’s the newest tool in my kit, so my full homework on it is in the Laters.com post. ➡️ CHECK IT OUT

point.me

Hands down my favorite tool for using travel points without the headache. I booked round-trip flights from MSP → Prague → Budapest → MSP for four people for just 148,000 points — no scouring airline sites, no guessing if it was a good deal. If you’ve got points and don’t know how to use them, this is where to start. ➡️ CHECK IT OUT

Skyscanner

My second opinion before I book anything. Skyscanner searches the airlines and the travel agencies selling the same seats, so it’s the widest cross-check I’ve got. It doesn’t sell the ticket — it hands you to whoever does. And its “Search Everywhere” is dangerous when the destination is still just “somewhere warm.” Try it right here:
